Where has 2022 gone? This year seems like it has just flown by. We cannot believe that Christmas is just around the corner! Maybe you have an idea of what your Christmas shopping list looks like, (or may have already started your Christmas shopping!) but I wanted to give you a few more gift ideas this holiday season!

Gifting experiences is somewhat of a new concept that many forget when gift shopping. There are plenty of benefits to gifting experiences instead of items. Keep reading to find out what benefits experience gifts have and a few ideas for this holiday season!

Now I know that many kiddos spend time creating their Christmas lists, and some items really will bring them so much joy! Giving an experience is an opportunity to do something to make wonderful memories with your child(ren). Whether it’s something your kid(s) are interested in or something new they get to experience for the first time, they’ll be talking about that memory much longer than a toy they might receive, and forget about after it is gone.

Life can be very busy, so an experience together is quality time spent together. Whether it’s with friends or family, children build their relationships the most when they spend quality time with their favorite people.

When children get lots of gifts at once it might be overwhelming, especially if other family members are also giving gifts. Sometimes they can lose focus on the gift they’ve received. But with an experience, children can focus on enjoying the moment and soaking up the fun!

Sleepovers can also provide learning experiences too! Kids will learn to connect with their closest friends, how to be respectful to others, and will build confident friendships that last a lifetime.
